About the Artist
Franchesca “Chesca” Lilly makes work rich with layers of metaphor and detail. While she primarily works digitally, she also works in acrylic, gouache, and mixed-media. Symbolism shines through in her depictions of suburbia, transhumanism, and miscommunication.
After a brief stint in STEM at University of Utah, Chesca now resides in Tempe, AZ, where she attends Arizona State University and works: a digital literacy tutor, a graphic designer for Tempe Preparatory Academy’s Yearbook, a school muralist, an art teacher.
In her spare time, she works as a character and product designer for Magic Mafia Gaming and illustrates for number of indie properties. Her current goal is to establish a digital art program at Tempe Preparatory Academy and to self-publish a webcomic.
